WE'RE SO GLAD YOU'VE JOINED US!

Here at Troop 2019, we're all about Teamwork and Personal Growth!  When you register your child in Scouts, everyone becomes a member.  Not only will your Scout make new friends, but you'll find that you do as well. That atmosphere is something we're very proud of and look forward to each year.

Now that you've registered, you may be wondering what to do next. Here are Troop 2019 1-2-3's for getting started!

1. SCOUTBOOK: A few days after you submit a youth application, either paper or electronic, your Scout will be registered with Troop 2019. The Greater Los Angeles Area Council regularly syncs their records with Scoutbook, the program we use to communicate with families and track your Scout's advancement.  When that happens, you'll receive an email asking you to connect to your Scout's account.  It's very important that you open that email and follow the instructions.

2. BAND: We have a Private BAND group for Parents and Scouts only.  This group is where we post photos, event reminders, share events, and more!  You need to be invited to this group by a member or request access.  For the privacy of our Scouts, we are very careful about who we provide access to. Please let us know in advance, that way we don't deny you access. Join us there when you can!

3. NEW PARENT GUIDE & CALENDAR:  Our New Parent Guide includes everything you need or want to know about our upcoming year.  There's something for everyone, like how our Troop is organized, how we communicate, what you need to buy for your Scout, uniforming requirements, what our dues are, and more.  Because it is sensitive information, this is posted in BAND APP Calendar that gives all the good details about our upcoming year, from Troop meetings to events such as Camping, Hiking, Merit Badge Classes, etc...  We have an action-packed year ahead and our special events kick-off soon, so it's important that you access our calendar right away.  Please join our Private BAND group for access to those files.
